On-demand course production: plan it, film it, launch it

Bring a book, a deck or just what you know. Course Planner writes your outline, scripts and slides. You film in one day in a course production studio built for teaching. Your finished course arrives ready for any platform.

Most courses never get made because the hard part comes first: turning what you know into lessons, scripts and slides. We take that part off your plate, so the day you film is the easy day. Three stages, one producer, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Plan it.

Course Planner writes your outline, scripts and slides.

Bring a book, a deck or just what you know. Our course creation software interviews you and drafts every lesson in your voice, on the instructional design principles we use for Fortune companies and top universities. You read it, change what needs changing and approve it.

    What you approve before filming
    • Your outline: modules and lessons in the order a learner needs them
    • Every lesson script, written from your own answers, for the teleprompter
    • A slide deck for every lesson, matched to the script, in your branding
    The interview
When a new client walks in overwhelmed, what is the first thing you have them do?
I make them list every account they owe on. Most people have never seen the whole number in one place.
    Your script
Module 1, Lesson 2: See the whole numberBefore we fix anything, we are going to look at everything. Grab a sheet of paper. By the end of this lesson, every account you owe on will be on one page.
    Your slide
Module 1, Lesson 2See the whole number
  2. 2

    Film it.

One day on a stage built for teaching.

Your scripts run on the teleprompter and your slides are on the screens behind you. Studio technicians light you, switch six cameras and capture every lesson while you do the one thing only you can do: teach it.

What the studio day looks like
    • Three setups without a reset: the main stage, the anchor desk and the interactive smartboard
    • Screens, lower thirds and graphics in your logo and colors
    • The average course films in four to seven hours, so most clients finish in a single studio day
The main stage, six cameras, a control room
The anchor desk The interactive smartboard The audience wall
  3. 3

    Launch it.

Finished files, ready for any platform.

Every lesson comes back edited and captioned, organized by module with its slides and the outline, ready to upload to Kajabi, Thinkific, Teachable, GoHighLevel or your university or corporate LMS. No platform yet? The studio hosts it for you.

    What you receive
    • Lesson videos, edited, captioned, named and numbered
    • The slide decks and the course outline alongside them

From first call to a launchable course, often in under a month.

One day of filming. An asset you keep.

You already have the expertise. A produced course lets it work while you are doing something else.

We cannot promise what a course will earn. We can promise the hard part, building it, gets done.

  • Sell itA product with no cost per copy. Price it, list it, and it sells while you sleep.
  • Stop repeating yourselfThe hour you spend walking every new client through the basics becomes a lesson they watch first.
  • Use it everywhereOnboarding, a group program, a bonus for clients, team training. It earns its keep even if it never sells.
  • Look like the expert you areA learner judges the teacher by the production. Make the judgment easy.

Questions producers hear most

What do I need to bring?
What you know. A published book, an existing deck or a course outline all give Course Planner a head start, but it works from an interview alone. The planning phase exists so you arrive on filming day knowing exactly what you will say in every lesson.
How long does an on-demand course take?
Planning and approval run at your pace, usually a couple of weeks. Filming is one day in the studio for most courses. Finished files follow in about two weeks. Many clients go from first call to a launchable course in under a month.
How long does filming take?
The average course is filmed in four to seven hours, so most clients finish in a single studio day. It can vary with the learner objectives: more modules, more demonstrations or longer lessons take longer. A producer sizes the day to your approved outline before you book.
Which platforms do you deliver to?
Any of them. Files are delivered ready for Kajabi, Thinkific, Teachable, GoHighLevel, Coursera-style platforms and corporate LMSs. If you do not have a platform yet, the studio can host the course for you.
Do I have to read a script word for word?
No. The scripts are written from your own answers in your own voice, and they run on a teleprompter so you never lose your place. Most people sound more like themselves on the prompter than they do ad-libbing, because the thinking was done in advance.
Who owns the course?
You do. Everything produced in your sessions is your intellectual property, as the studio terms have always said.

Tell a producer about your course.

What it teaches, what you are starting from (a book, slides, or just you) and when you would like it done. A producer replies with how the studio would build it.

A producer replies within one business day. No newsletter, no drip, just an answer.

✓ Thanks. A producer will be in touch within one business day.
